Why Kenya?

Close to home, new to you

Kenya is our neighbour, yet a Nairobi weekend or a week on the Coast still feels like a real holiday. You can have breakfast in Kampala and dinner in Westlands, or swap the routine for the warm Indian Ocean in under two hours’ flying.

  • Two holidays in one country — city, wildlife and beach, linked by flights or the SGR train.
  • Familiar and easy — East African hospitality, the same plug sockets as home, mobile money everywhere and plenty of English and Kiswahili.
  • Something for every group — couples, families, friends, colleagues and celebrations.

Nairobi

Giraffes before lunch, rooftop dinner after

Nairobi is far more than an airport connection. Morning game drives in Nairobi National Park — with the city skyline behind the rhinos — leave the afternoon free for the Giraffe Centre, the markets and the malls.

In the evening, choose from nyama choma, rooftop bars, live music and some of the region’s most varied restaurants.

The Kenyan Coast

The Coast is more than a beach

Walk the lanes of Mombasa Old Town and the ramparts of Fort Jesus. Snorkel in Watamu’s marine park, watch dolphins off Wasini Island, then eat grilled fish, pilau and mahamri as the sun goes down.

Mombasa, Diani, Watamu, Malindi and Kilifi each have a different mood — we’ll help you pick the right one.
